What is JanNoWriMo?
JanNoWriMo stands for January Novel Writing Month, an event that takes place every January and is a spin-off of the well-known writing challenge, NaNoWriMo.
Although NaNo’s challenge involves a goal of 50,000 words, JanNoers are free to choose their own word count goal for the month.
JanNoWriMo is not sponsored or associated with NaNoWriMo or its creators in any way.
What is NaNoFiMo?
NaNoFiMo, or National Novel Finishing Month, is a December-based event that involves finishing a project, usually started for NaNoWriMo, during the month of November.
Although JanNoWriMo is not associated with the founders of NaNoFiMo, we have a section of forums for that event because some of our members enjoy hanging out here once NaNoWriMo has ended.
